Reho Travel, the Melbourne-based travel management company, has expanded with the acquisition of NGT Travel.
The deal will see the Reho team expanded to 36 staff, with the majority of the NGT team expected to be retained by Reho Travel, working out of the company’s Melbourne and Sydney offices. The combined entity will have an annual turnover of approximately AU$45 million (US$34m).
“Adding NGT to our business will allow Reho to deliver new levels of capability and value to our clients and enable us to further invest in technology with the support of an energetic and experienced team,” said Reho Travel’s managing director, Karsten Horne.
Founded in Melbourne in 1989, NGT Travel is an established TMC and developed Australia’s first web-based corporate rewards and employee recognition programme.
Both companies are members of Helloworld for Business, the corporate arm of the Australian travel distribution company.
