In a recent development, Dubai International’s Terminal 3 will soon cater for families. The Concourse B’s Zen Garden has just opened a new facility for families.
The new facilities are located between Gates B7 and B8 and features a children’s area complete with play equipment, television screens featuring children’s programming, and baby changing rooms. There is also climbing area and interactive games zone.
In addition to the new family area, the main transfer area in Concourse B has also been expanded and refurbished. There is even a children’s security machine. The capacity of the transfer area has also been increased to accommodate more passengers.
“These new facilities are first of a series of changes we are making across the terminals at Dubai International,” said Chris Garton, executive vice president – operations at Dubai Airports.
The other enhancements include redesigned washrooms, family toilets, powdering booths for women and screens next to mirrors.
