AccorHotels has launched its third Pullman hotel in Bangkok, following the rebranding of the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit.
The central property, which now becomes known as the Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit, adds 325 rooms to the upscale brand’s Thai inventory.
“The Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit is a terrific addition to the network, providing stylish, upscale accommodation designed for today’s sophisticated traveller,” said Michael Issenberg, chairman & CEO of AccorHotels Asia Pacific.
“The hotel boasts an unbeatable location, outstanding meeting facilities and modern restaurants that make it popular not only with guests but with Bangkok locals.”
Bangkok was the location of the first ever Pullman hotel, when the Pullman Bangkok King Power launched in 2008. The company has since added the Pullman Bangkok Hotel G in the city’s Silom area, which was rebranded from a former Sofitel.
Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit is set in a distinctive sail-shaped building and offers two restaurants, a lounge, bar, outdoor pool, gym and spa. It also features 10 meeting rooms including a 500-pax ballroom.
The rebranding of the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit comes hot off the heels of the launch of another Pullman in Southeast Asia, Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre Hotel & Residences, which was recently converted from the former Prince Hotel.
And Pullman’s Asia Pacific growth will continue in the coming years, with a pipeline of more than 40 hotels in the region.
