UAE gets listed as top summer destination: Al Muhairi

In a recent development, Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb Al Muhairi, director-general of the National Council for Tourism and Antiquities, said that UAE has turned into a permanent summer tourist destination, due to continuous flow of tourists during summer, as reported by WAM.
This was confirmed by tourist momentum in the GCC which is not temporary, but it has become a continuous trend, he added.
Al Muhairi further added that continued tourist development in summer to intense activities of the local tourism departments, launch of various family festivals, and organising of celebrations to suit the taste of the Gulf tourists and family tourism are some of the many activities.
Al Muhairi noted that hotels and resorts have also contributed to this tourist boom.
