Thailand’s Dusit International has continued to expand its portfolio in China with the signing of a new hotel in the city of Jiangyin, Jiangsu province.
To be operated by the company’s Chinese joint venture, Dusit Fudu Hotels & Resorts, the new Dusit Princess Hotel & Residence is expected to open in late 2016, and will offer 150 midscale rooms and 250 apartments.
Facilities will include a restaurant, health club and meeting rooms.
Located on the banks of Yangtze River, Jiangyin is 20 minutes’ drive from Wuxi and two hours from Shanghai and Nanjing.

Three Dusit Princess hotels… are due to launch in 2016, in the cities of Shanghai, Panzhihua in Sichuan province, and now Jiangyin. The Dusit Princess brand is welcoming, efficient and affordable and this hotel has been designed with the well-being of both travellers and long-stay guests in mind,” said Lim Boon Kwee, president of Dusit Fudu.
Dusit now operates two hotels in China, but has multiple new projects in the pipeline.
