Wanda Hotels & Resorts has held the grand opening of a new hotel in Liuzhou, a city in southern China’s Guangxi region.
The new Wanda Realm Liuzhou is located in the city’s new business district, next to the Wanda Plaza mall. It features 285 rooms and suites ranging in size from 40 to 208m², plus Chinese, Japanese and international restaurants and a lobby lounge.
Facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, a gymnasium and spa, plus several meeting rooms and a huge 1,200m² grand ballroom equipped with a 90m² LED screen.
“As the second biggest city of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and with the second highest GDP, Liuzhou is a major industrial centre for southwest China. It’s also a city that has an increasing demand for luxury hotels, and this demand has created a healthy market space for the hotel brands that plan to settle here,” said Franco Lo, the hotel’s general manager.
Wanda Realm Liuzhou becomes Wanda’s 82nd hotel in China, and the 31st under the Wanda Realm brand.
