Groupon has partnered with Skyscanner to give customers across its European markets the power to search for flights. For the first time, Groupon’s customers will be able to browse and book flights thanks to the data provided by Skyscanner.
The flight search tool will be available to Groupon customers in the UK initially, with the option to expand into other markets in the future. Customers will be able to access the flight search tool via the Groupon Getaways section of its website, which advertises holiday offers across the world.
“Our goal is for any customer who wants to book a getaway to check Groupon first,” said Jonathan Starkings, EMEA director of Travel for Groupon.
The flights data is provided through Skyscanner’s White Label product, a bespoke travel search tool which is fully customised to fit with Groupon’s branding.
