RAK TDA partners with Thomas Cook Group

Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAK TDA) inked a partnership with Thomas Cook Group.
The partnership will see a major cooperative marketing agreement aimed at promoting the emirate as a premier destination for European leisure tour
The initial plan is to run event from 1 March 2016 – 28 February 2017, the co-marketing partnership will also help raise awareness about Ras Al Khaimah in international markets and drive travel and tourism to the destination.
A large proportion of the initiative will run simultaneously across the UK, Germany and Scandinavia (Norway, Denmark, Sweden & Finland). This will be followed with a high profile, co-branded marketing campaign that touches consumer and trade touch-points which includes in-store promotions across Thomas Cook’s retail outlets.
Haitham Mattar, CEO of the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority said: “We’re confident that this alliance will help spread word about our Emirate’s unique selling points.”
The agreement will also include intensive travel agent training, product awareness support on international PR outlets and social media channels.
