Grand Excelsior Hotels take over Sheraton Deira hotel

Bin Haider Hospitality, a subsidiary of Mohammad Omar Bin Haider Holding Group (MOBH) recently rebranded its Sheraton Deira as Grand Excelsior Hotel and taken over management of the property from Starwood Hotels.
This is the fourth hotel to be internally branded as a Grand Excelsior. The other hotels are in Bur Dubai, Al Barsha and Sharjah. Bin Haider plans to increase the brand portfolio and expand with more hotel projects across UAE, Middle East and Europe.
Bin Haider hospitality section consists of three sections – one owns and manages hotels under the Grand Excelsior brand, second section owns with third party management; and third owns and manages hotel apartments under Deebaj brand.
The rebranded hotel offers 229 guest rooms including 35 suites, several amenities such as restaurants – The Terrace, Le Café, an informal lounge, The Lindbergh’s, a sports bar and the AI Masah ballroom which can accommodate up to 500 guests.
