Luxury Hotels Group (LHG), a hotel marketing company, has announced a new tie up with the Ambassador Group of Hotels for its global distribution services.
This move will see LHG represent Ambassador’s Indian hotels, enabling the hotel group to expand its sales reach and generate additional bookings from the travel trade. Pramod Kulkarni, Ambassador Group’s vice president of IT, revenue management & distribution, said the partnership formed part of the company’s expansion plans.
“The Ambassador Group of Hotels is one of the best-known hotel groups in India. We are in the process of brand standardisation and expansion, and so were looking for a new way to expand our international reach and penetrate new markets when we found Luxury Hotels Group. We’re excited at the prospect of growing our business and brand exposure through working with LHG in the months to come,” Kulkarni said.
For Luxury Hotels Group, the tie-up with Ambassador is aimed at increasing its exposure in the fast-growing Indian hotel sector.
“We’re delighted to partner with such a well-known group and, in so doing, increase our presence in the Indian market. The properties of the group make it a great addition to our portfolio of highly individual hotels,” said Amarpal Chandok, LHG’s director of business development for Asia.
Ambassador currently operates high-end hotels in Mumbai, Chennai and Aurangabad.
