Singapore Airlines has appointed Sheldon Hee its general manager for the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Hee replaces Wilson Yong, who is being posted back to Singapore having held the role since December 2012.
Hee will be based at the Singapore Airlines London office in Chiswick and brings with him an array of experience from the aviation and tourism industry.
He arrives from Singapore where, most recently, he held the post of vice president Marketing Communications & Development; a role he occupied for nearly five years.
During this time he oversaw the brand’s ‘Lengths We Go To’ advertising campaign, as well as the launch of the airline’s title sponsorship of the Singapore F1 Grand Prix.
