Michael Kaye named head of Austrian Airlines Technik

Michael Kaye has commenced his role as head of Austrian Airlines Technik. He succeeds Michael Delion, who has taken up a new position at Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg.
“With Michael Kaye we have been able to attract a top manager to work for Austrian Airlines. I am pleased that he will ensure the continued high standards and technical reliability of the Austrian Airlines fleet in the future”, says Austrian Airlines CEO Kay Kratky.
Born in Baltimore, USA, Kaye started his professional career at Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg in 1988. He held various aircraft maintenance positions at the company until 1994.
He most recently served as technical director at Germanwings from February 2007 and 2016 and also as Accountable Manager Part-145 since May 2008.
