Gulf Air takes on Alfa Express

In a bid to focus on social responsibility, Gulf Air has selected Alfa Express Company for its waste management and recycling drive.
The two companies entered into an agreement recently allowing the airline to avail of recycling services from Alfa Express Company to eliminate and dispose of the organisation’s waste papers, plastic bottles, aluminium cans and cardboard.
This initiative is in line with Gulf Air’s corporate social responsibility strategy to participate actively in green initiatives, minimise the airline’s impact on the environment while promoting sustainability and acting as a role model to other organizations.
The signing ceremony was held between Mohammed Amin Hulaiwah, Gulf Air director corporate affairs and communications Board Secretary and Dr Jassim Haji, Gulf Air director Information Technology along with Fadhel Al Maskati, Alfa Express Company managing director.
