AVIAREPS’ Middle East travel caravan lands in Oman

The AVIAREPS Middle East Travel Caravan 2016 has reached its final destination – Oman.
The event is a calendar of travel industry networking events that brings together some of the world’s leading destination, aviation and tourism brands under the one roof with opportunities for the partners to meet directly with the region’s leading travel agents and travel industry decision makers.
The AVIAREPS Middle East Travel Caravan kicked off in Dubai on 16th October 2016 before heading off to Doha in Qatar on the 18th of October. The last leg of the roadshow stopped in Muscat in on 19 October at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Muscat.
A second AVIAREPS Travel Caravan will then be conducted from 27 – 30 November, 2016 and visit Kuwait, and Riyadh and Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The demand from destinations and tourism entities around the world wanting to reach out to the Middle East’s outbound travel industry – one of the world’s top spending markets – has been growing year on year. Additionally, this unique format brings destination and tourism brands from across the world all under the one roof, providing a variety of business development opportunities that the local travel industry has appreciated. Through this platform participating partners will increase their presence within, and knowledge of the Middle East outbound market, and local travel agencies will immediately be able to offer their clients new and exciting travel packages tailored to the region’s specific needs.”
The Middle East Travel Caravan in Oman was attended by ore than 100 leading travel trade professionals. Tourism destination brands participating in the event included: Philippines Department of Tourism (PDOT), Slovenia Tourism Board (STB), Kyoto Convention and Visitors Bureau (KCVB), Orange County Visitors Association (OCVA) and Visit California. Other participating brands included RwandAir, Oman Air, Disneyland, Rail Europe, Globus Family of Coaches, Seawings, Hong Kong Airlines and TopTravelTrip to name a few.
