Dukes London, the five-star British bolthole in the heart of Mayfair, has revealed a major refurbishment programme will commence in November.
The programme will see major improvements to its bedrooms, public areas and restaurant.
Starting next month with the hotel’s meeting rooms, changes to the restaurant and hotel bedrooms will follow in January. The improved look is anticipated to be completed by the end of the Spring.
Commenting on the makeover, managing director of Dukes Collection, Debrah Dhugga said: “At Dukes London we understand that to remain at the forefront of the luxury hotel industry, maintaining standards is absolutely essential. This multi-million-pound renovation will be the biggest investment the hotel has seen in decades. Our aim of the refurbishment is to enhance and enrich what our guests know and love about the Dukes experience, whilst maintaining our award-winning five-star service and attention to detail that the hotel is so well-known for. We are extremely excited at the prospect of revealing the new look hotel to our guests next spring.”
Dukes’ award-winning food and beverage areas will also experience some exciting changes, under the guidance of executive head chef, Nigel Mendham. Having successfully taken the hotel’s signature restaurant from strength to strength with his modern and seasonal menus, Nigel will now head up a brand new all-day casual dining concept as part of a completely fresh restaurant offering, making this one of London’s most exciting new F&B offerings for 2017.
