Hilton has opened a new resort at a tourism park in Ningbo, the coastal city in eastern China’s Zhejiang province.
The new Hilton Ningbo Dongqian Lake Resort is positioned within the Ningbo Dongqian Lake Tourist Resort, close to attractions such as the Dongqian Lake Water Theme Park and Youngor Zoo. It marks the company’s debut in Ningbo.
“As we continue to grow our footprint across China, we are pleased to establish our flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand in another important resort destination that is hugely popular both with leisure travellers and event planners,” said Bruce McKenzie, Hilton’s senior vice president of operations for Greater China & Mongolia.
“With its vast convention space and enviable location, Hilton Ningbo Dongqian Lake Resort is a fantastic addition to our portfolio.”
Set on its own private beach, Hilton Ningbo Dongqian Lake Resort features 280 rooms, five F&B outlets, a heated indoor swimming pool, an outdoor pool overlooking the lake, a spa, 24-hour fitness centre, a sports hall and kids’ club. For the MICE market there is more than 4,000m² of indoor and outdoor meeting space, including 11 function rooms and a 1,170m² ballroom.
Ningbo Dongqian Lake Tourist Resort is also home to a Park Hyatt hotel.
