SpiceJet cuts flights

Indian low-cost carrier SpiceJet is reducing its daily flights from 177 to 100 per day to cut losses, The Economic Times reported. CEO Sidhant Sharma was quoted saying that the airline was expected to make a total loss of Rs 80 (US$18.7 million) to 100 crore in the current fiscal, up from Rs 70 crore in the last financial year.
