KLM-Air France passengers are now able to receive their boarding pass on their mobile phone. This new service has initially offered to passengers travelling on flights between Amsterdam and Paris, but is expected to be rolled-out in coming months.
Passengers simply check-in on their mobile device with internet access (smart phone, PDA or Blackberry) and receive their boarding passes with a secure barcode by e-mail, MMS or SMS. So the only document still needed at the airport is a personal ID.
“It is a new step in smooth and hassle free travelling,” said Martijn van der Zee, Vice President E-Commerce Air France KLM.
