Thailand’s Civil Aviation Department (CAD) has refused to lift its suspension of low-cost carrier One Two Go’s license, saying it is still unhappy with the airline’s quality control, the Bangkok Post has reported. The move will come as a blow to One Two Go, which had expected the ban to be lifted in the latest review.
The suspension has now been extended three times since it was initially imposed on 22 July. CAD Deputy Director General, Wuthichai Singhamanee, said yesterday there were still defects in the airline’s flight manual and managerial structure. The suspension was further extended until Monday.
