Kingfisher flight makes emergency landing

A Kingfisher Airlines flight carrying164 people has made an emergency landing at Nagpur airport, The Times of India has reported. The Airbus A320 was en route from Raipur to Mumbai when the pilot reported “technical difficulties” and requested a diversion to Nagpur. The plane landed safely with no casualties, the report said.
Kingfisher spokesperson, Prakash Mirpuri, told The Times; “All public transport aircraft including the Airbus A320 are capable of sustaining flight on one engine and land safely on one engine. The Kingfisher staff took care of passengers at Nagpur airport.”
