Tiger Airways has launched the first low-cost service between Singapore and Kuching, in Malaysia’s Sarawak region. The direct services will run on a daily basis, with the inaugural flight being greeted by Sawarak Minister of Urban Development and Tourism, Datuk Michael Manyin Anak Jawong (pictured).
Rosalynn Tay, Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore, said, “Today we celebrate the positive steps that Singapore and Malaysia’s governments have taken to liberalise air travel between the two countries. Tiger Airways is delighted to finally have the opportunity to provide true low fare travel to East Malaysia.”
