New museum opens on South Sulawesi

A new museum opened in the Indonesian province of South Sulawesi this week. Local news portal, tribunnews.com, reported that the Balla Lompa Museum, located 10km from Makassar, contains a collection of hundreds of artifacts from the Gowa Kingdom, which dates back to the 15th Century. The museum was inaugurated in a unique way, being lifted three metres off the ground.
