CLIA announces the Family Holiday Association as official charity partner

CLIA has announced that it will be partnering with the Family Holiday Association (FHA) with the goal of providing 250 families with a break as well as working with the charity to raise further funds.

Launching at the CLIA Cruise360, taking place in Copenhagen this weekend, the cruise industry body will be encouraging its travel agent members and cruise line and travel industry partners to donate £10 to achieve the 250 family holiday mark for disadvantaged families.

To donate to the cause, CLIA is asking the travel industry to text ‘CLIA17 £10’ to 70070 or alternatively, visit http://www.familyholidayassociation.org.uk/CLIA to donate.

Andy Harmer, SVP Membership & Director, CLIA UK & Ireland said:

“We are pleased to announce our partnership with the FHA with the goal of providing some incredible holiday memories for deserving families up and down the UK. We are calling on all of our wonderful agent members and travel industry partners to donate to this truly deserving cause.”

Angie Watson, Fundraising and Comms Manager at the Family Holiday Association added:

“We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering up with CLIA, we share an understanding of the importance and value of breaks away from home and the positive and long-lasting impact they have on families’ lives. We are excited to work together over the coming year and spread a little sunshine to those who need it most.”
