Mercure debuts in Vietnam

Accor, the largest international hotel operator in Vietnam, has announced the debut of its Mercure brand to Vietnam, with two new hotel openings in Hanoi and Hue. Both hotels will open in September 2009. Mercure Hanoi La Gare is the first newly-built international four-star hotel in the capital city. Th2 102-room mid-scale hotel is situated in city centre on Ly Thuong Kiet, opposite of the central railway station. Facilities include two restaurants, a fitness centre, a tour desk and a business centre.
The 110-room Mercure Hue, Gerbera, will benefit from its prime location on Le Loi Street with views of the Perfume River. The hotel’s facilities will include a day spa, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. The hotel will also have extensive conference facilities, including a 450m? ballroom.
