Aston to open Pontianak hotel

Jakarta, 15 February 2010 - Aston International announced that the group recently signed an agreement with PT. Transera Putra Khatulistiwa to manage a new 4 star Hotel and Convention Center in Pontianak, the capital city of Indonesia’s West Kalimantan province.
The hotel will open in October 2010 as the Aston Millenia Pontianak Hotel & Convention Center and feature 150 rooms and suites and Kalimantan’s most comprehensive conference facilities including a grand ball room, a 1000 m2 exhibition hall and various auxiliary meeting rooms. The new Hotel and Convention Center will also offer a wide range of recreational facilities such as a full service spa, reflexology center, 24 Karaoke rooms, a billiard area, a retail arcade and 2 restaurants.
