Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner has completed its maiden trans-Pacific journey to Japan, where it will undergo testing this week with launch customer, All Nippon Airways (ANA). AP reported that the first Dreamliner arrived at Tokyo’s Haneda airport early Sunday, where two fire trucks gave it the traditional water cannon salute.
ANA’s first Dreamliner, which will carry a special livery displaying the numbers ‘787’ on the fuselage, will now undergo a series of tests on domestic routes in Japan, allowing the Japanese airline’s crews to get used to the new model.
