Singapore has granted landing rights to two airlines from Bhutan. National carrier Drukair and Tashi Air will be free to strike up services to and from Singapore when a bilateral air services agreement is signed-off by Singapore’s Department of Civil Aviation this week. According to the Straits Times, Drukair is looking to launch two weekly flights to Singapore and has negotiated rights to fly via Kolkata and Dhaka. Tashi Air will begin flights once domestic obligations have been met, which could be as early as October.
