Carnival launches agent social media game The Carnival Game gives knowledge of the line's whole fleetCarnival Cruise Lines has launched the industry’s first ‘social media game’ aimed specifically at travel agents. The game – Carnival Adventures – is aimed at providing an interactive, educational platform for agents to learn more about the firm and its offering. Carnival Adventures, available on www.GoCCL.com, lets the player take control of a ‘Carnival Cruise-Ader’ and then guide it through multiple levels of training. This includes Carnival policies, booking tools and first-time cruiser acquisition. The game also gives an in-depth look at the entire Carnival fleet.“Increasing sales, booking and product knowledge for travel agents are all key to helping grow their business and with a game like Carnival Adventures, we know they’re going to have a little fun with it all along the way,” said Joni Rein, vice president of worldwide sales for Carnival Cruise Lines. “We understand how busy agents are throughout their day, so we wanted to create a training product that provided useful facts, fun and flexibility all at the same time.” Agents are able to earn points as they progress through the levels, with Carnival sharing the top 100 players. Points will also translate to prizes with the line’s Travel Agent Rewards programme. “The game is really helpful in testing your knowledge of Carnival’s product, booking process, and policies, which in turn helps you keep current on these areas, commented Jorge Gonzalez, Jr, of Miami-based Tania Travel & Tours. At the same time, it’s really entertaining, making the entire process more fun.” Meet the Author Sam Ballard Share Article Facebook Twitter Google+ LinkedIn Share Related Articles Cruise News UK Carnival launches first UK TV campaign Cruise News UK Norwegian Cruise Line launches agent offer Cruise News UK Royal Caribbean launches agent Facebook Your Comments
