Absolute Hotel Services Group has signed a management contract for a new French-style resort in eastern Thailand. The Magnolia French Country Khao Yai Resort, which is due to open at the end of 2012, will be located close to the UNESCO-listed Khao Yai National Park, two-and-a-half hours’ drive from Bangkok.
The resort will be designed in the form of a traditional residence in southern France, surrounded by landscaped gardens, ponds and a large free-form swimming pool. The 78 rooms and suites will feature French country interiors, while the resort will also feature a French brasserie, a delicatessen and patisserie, and a wine cellar. Other facilities include meeting rooms, an outdoor events lawn and a spa.
“Khao Yai is one of high potential destinations for tourism in Thailand, especially for domestic travellers. With the unique design and concept of Magnolia French Country Khao Yai, we are confident that the property will be well accepted in the market which is in need of quality facilities and services.” said Jonathan Wigley, CEO of Absolute Hotel Services Group.
