American Airlines has received its first Boeing 777-300ER to later be used on its London route.
The new aircraft is the first of the introduction of a new fleet and is configured with three classes.
It will originally be used on the new Dallas/Fort worth-Sao Paulo route from 31 January and is slated to be added to its flights from Heathrow to Dallas/Fort Worth and New York JFK. It features a new livery and walk-up bar, with lie-flat beds in first and business class.
“This aircraft will deliver a new level of comfort, connectivity, and convenience for our customers. We are especially pleased to be among the first in the industry to offer a combination of fully lie-flat seats with all-aisle access, international Wi-Fi, and state-of-the-art in-seat entertainment,” said Virasb Vahidi, chief commercial officer at American.
