Best Western has opened its first resort in Khao Lak, southern Thailand.
Located on the Andaman Sea coast, an hour’s drive north of Phuket airport, the Best Western Premier Khaolak Southsea offers 125 rooms, all with balconies or terraces offering sea views. As a five-star Best Western Premier hotel, all rooms come equipped with flat-screen LCD televisions with USB ports, and free Wi-Fi.
The hotel also offers two restaurants; Anda, which offers international dishes, and Chai Lay, serving local Thai cuisine and fresh seafood.
“We are delighted to expand our footprint to yet another fantastic Thai tourism destination,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western’s Vice President International Operations for Asia & the Middle East. “The stunning shores of Khao Lak’s Andaman Coast offer some of Asia’s most beautiful beaches, and with a vast array of leisure facilities close-by, including world-class diving sites in the Similan and Surin Islands, this exciting destination has something to offer everyone. I am sure that luxurious Best Western Premier brand will be the perfect fit for these stunning surroundings.”
The Best Western Premier Khaolak Southsea becomes the 16th Best Western hotel in Thailand, and with the addition of Khao Lak, Best Western is now present in eight Thai destinations.
