bmi regional launches new Norwegian route

bmi regional has launched its new route between Newcastle and Stavanger, Norway, its second to the Nordic country.
bmi regional is flying daily from Sunday to Friday from Newcastle to the Norwegian city, which a major business destination due to the proximity of North Sea oil fields.
All passengers receive a 20kg checked baggage allowance, complimentary in flight bar and snack service, 30-minute check-in and allocated 2:1 seating. Fares on the route start from £78 one way or £139 return.
Commenting on the route launch, Jochen Schnadt, bmi regional’s chief commercial officer, said: “We’re excited to have added this route into our network and with it Stavanger as our latest addition to our growing network of key business locations. Stavanger has a varied appeal; the city is a hub for the oil and gas industry, as well as being a former Capital of Culture with great gourmet credentials. Our new Branded Fares including our new Executive product will be a perfect fit for this new market offering business and leisure customers the right product and flexibility choice when travelling between Newcastle and Stavanger.”
