Hawaiian Airlines adds 7,644 seats to Sydney route
Hawaiian Airlines will introduce 26 extra flights on the Sydney – Honolulu route in April and May 2013, to accommodate increased travel demand.
The airline will add three extra flights per week between 4 April and 1 June, taking frequency to 10 flights per week. Hawaiian will operate the extra flights using its largest aircraft type, the 294-seat, wide-body Airbus A330-200, adding a total of 7,644 new air seats to the market.
Flight HA 436 will depart Sydney at 8:00 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive in Honolulu early the same day, after crossing the international dateline. The return flight, HA 435, will depart Honolulu on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 10:05 a.m., crossing the international dateline, and arriving in Sydney at 5:40 p.m. the following day.
The announcement of additional flights for Sydney follows Hawaiian’s launch last week of nonstop flights from Brisbane to Honolulu, three times a week.
