Jet Airways has introduced its ‘Priority Advantage’ service for passengers travelling in economy class.
This service allows economy passengers to pay a small fee to receive priority check-in and baggage delivery services. Priority Advantage check-in counters, which are marked at the airport, can already be used free-of-charge by qualifying members of the JetPrivilege frequent flyer programme. For standard economy class passengers however, the fee to use this service is INR400 (approx. US$6).
Guests can select the Priority Advantage option at the time of booking via Jet’s website or mobile app, or any time up to 24 hours prior to departure.
“The comfort and convenience of guests is our utmost priority and we constantly strive to create an exceptional flying experience for them,” said Gaurang Shetty, Jet’s whole-time director.
“The Priority Advantage service to all guests travelling in economy is another step in this journey, and demonstrates our continued commitment to the ‘Guest First’ philosophy. With the introduction of this service, Jet Airways has yet again raised the industry benchmark for customer experience.”
Priority check-in services are available for domestic flights across India.
