MEBAA gears up for business

The airline industry will be abuzz with discussion and debates on the future of business aviation at the forthcoming Middle East Business Aviation Conference (MEBAC).
The second edition will have industry veterans addressing issues affecting optimal development of the Middle East industry and predicting future of business aviation.
The conference will be opened on 10 December in Dubai by MEBAA chairmanMr Ali Ahmed Al Naqbi. Designed to be an interactive session, the conference will be chaired by Alan Peaford, to discuss pertinent and most pressing challenges facing the industry as it moves into 2013. The highlight for this year’s event will have Rob Wilson, president of business and general aviation at Honeywell Aerospace present Honeywell’s Business Aviation Outlook for 2013.
Providing a snapshot, Wilson said: “As the Middle East continues to adapt to a new economic reality, the business aviation outlook is still within a strong up-cycle. Honeywell has forecasted the delivery of approximately 10,000 new business aircrafts through to 2022, generating industry sales of US$250bn (AED918bn).”
