Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd announced this week that it will open its ninth property in Tokyo in January 2016.
Located in Japan’s main financial and business district of Marunouchi, Oakwood Premier Tokyo will be the first serviced apartment project in the district.
It is located in a multi-use complex two minutes’ walk from Tokyo Station, near major tourist sites such as the Imperial Palace, Ginza shopping district, the Tsukiji Fish Market and numerous Michelin star restaurants.
All 123 units in the complex come fully furnished with a Western-style kitchen and appliances, a home entertainment system and Sound Bar System.
Services and facilities include 24-hour concierge and front desk services, housekeeping, business services, a residents’ lounge, high speed Wi-Fi and a fitness centre.
This is the second Oakwood Premier-branded property in the city, the other being the Oakwood Premier Tokyo Midtown. Oakwood Premier Tokyo in Marunouchi will be the second property in Tokyo licensed to cater to short-stay travellers, after Oakwood Apartments Ariake.
“We are delighted to open another Oakwood-branded property in the exciting city of Tokyo,” said Dean Schreiber, managing director of Oakwood Asia Pacific. “We have phenomenal relationships with our business partners, great properties, superb staff and everything we need to continue being successful in this unique city.
“We are confident that Oakwood Premier Tokyo will be yet another world-class accommodation option for our customers and be another feather in the Oakwood cap.”
