Rotana recently announced the soft opening of the City Centre Rotana Doha.
The new property is developed by Al Rayyan Tourism Investment Company (ARTIC) and is the Group’s second property in Qatar.
The hotel located in West Bay area is a 52-storey tower featuring 287 rooms and suites and 94 serviced apartments.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Faisal Al Thani, ARTIC’s vice chairman said: “Qatar is witnessing a remarkable growth in tourism. With this new upscale brand, we are offering a unique addition to Qatar hospitality market.”
City Centre Rotana offers dining venues for all tastes including other facilities such as conference and seminar requirements, grand ballroom, meeting rooms as well as a business centre. The hotel also includes a bodylines leisure and fitness club, massage rooms, as well as sauna and Jacuzzi rooms.
Omer Kaddouri, president and CEO of Rotana said: “With opening of City Centre Rotana, Rotana’s inventory in Doha has increased to more than 1000 rooms. Moreover, the second quarter of this year is slated to witness opening of Centro Capital Doha, our first hotel to be launched in the country, which will then add another 229 rooms to our portfolio in Qatar.”
