1,200 evacuated as quake hits China
An earthquake hit China’s southern Yunnan province on Wednesday, forcing 1,200 people to evacuate their homes, Reuters has reported. The quake, measuring ‘just’ 5 on the Richter scale, but was strong enough to collapse houses. No casualties have yet been reported.
