The Ajman Palace managed by HMH – Hospitality Management is keenly focusing on the corporate as well as green initiatives.
The first major deluxe hotel development in Ajman for more than a decade, The 254-unit Ajman Palace will aggressively promote green initiatives.
According to general manager Roland Obermeier, one key feature will be the green credentials, from the management’s use of e-cards rather than paper business cards through to solar energy panels on the roof that are used to generate hot water.
“As a new hotel, it will be a priority from the outset to look after our environment,” he said. “Whether it is in the small things such as doing away with business cards, or on-going initiatives including the use of solar energy, The Ajman Palace aims to set an example for the community.”
“This approach has a business aspect too as many guests from overseas are now asking about green policies before booking a hotel room,” he added.
Another focus area will be the 1,200 sq metre ballroom, the largest in the northern Emirates with a grand foyer and two adjacent terraces, as well as a conference hall and three meeting rooms and a VIP function area.
