14 injured in London hotel gas explosion

Fourteen people were injured in a gas explosion at the Hyatt Regency London- The Churchill on Friday evening.
The Marylebone hotel was evacuated just before midnight when the explosion went off at 23.40, causing part of the hotel to collapse.
Five were taken to hospital while nine were treated at the scene. All were members of staff, while all of those in its rooms were unharmed. The hotel has 400 rooms and around 500 people were evacuated.
Hyatt said those that have reservations at the hotel before 1 December will have new arrangements made, while those staying after 1 December will either be honoured at the hotel itself or another.
