Eurotunnel could be forced to sell its three ex-SeaFrance vessels after the Competition Commission said its services could lead to higher prices.
The channel tunnel operator’s ferry services on the Dover-Calais route under MyFerryLink has concerned the British commission over its stake in the cross-channel service market.
Eurotunnel is to now appeal against the decision.
The deal, which saw Eurotunnel buy three SeaFrance ships for GBP56m, was cleared by French authorities in November.
