FRHI Hotels boosts regional presence

FRHI Hotels & Resorts (FRHI) has recently announced that growth in the Middle East, Africa and India (MEAI) region will reach 50% within next five years.
In preparation for anticipated regional expansion, FRHI has opened a new regional headquarters in Dubai to accommodate its growing MEAI team, which has increased from 32 in 2012 to 50 in 2013. This number will reach 60 by end of 2014.
Two new Fairmont properties are set to open in the GCC by end of 2014. The beachfront resort, Fairmont Ajman in UAE, will feature 252 guestrooms and suites, including two penthouses. Additionally, the hotel will also boast a 2,000 square meter indoor function space as well as outdoor facilities. The second property is Fairmont Riyadh – Business Gate, in Saudi Arabia, which will be part of a new mixed-use development project comprised of a 287-room hotel, a 4,000 square meter convention center and commercial office property.
