Royal Jordanian hosts AACO Business Technology Forum 2014

Royal Jordanian recently played host to the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) Business Technology Forum 2014. The airline’s chairman of the Board and president & CEO Nasser Lozi inaugurated the event in Amman. The forum witnessed the gathering of 13 Arab airlines including Royal Jordanian Airlines.
Lozi mentioned that the forum provides an opportunity for different Arab airlines to discuss issues related to information technology, communications and development of work environment. He further added that information technology and communications became a mainstay for the development of airlines performance through application of modern systems to streamline commercial and operational techniques.
The two-day event tackled the information technology aspect, discussed by experts from the aviation sector. It also includes international air transport professionals negotiating means of enhancing passengers’ satisfaction and simplifying travel procedures using the latest technologies. The forum also discussed measures to increase revenues and control cost, and applying optimal hi-tech solutions in regards to seat booking, ticket selling, airport services, air freight, and others.
