Bookableholidays.com has been put back into business after the Travel Up Group purchased rights from administrators KRE.
Reading-based Travel Up Group, which also has call centres in London and Blackpool, has purchased the registered trademark, intellectual property and premises of the Bookableholidays brand, which went into administration in October.
A number of key staff members are due to stay at Bookableholidays.com under the agreement, which has already put the website live and started reservations through call centres.
Former Bookableholidays.com director Craig Ashford has joined Travel Up Group as head of group sales and marketing.
Travel Up was established more than 10 years ago with a specialist area in seat-only sales. Bravo Travel joined the group in 2011 and Magic Holidays was launched offering trips to Florida and the US in January 2014. Bookableholidays is now its fourth brand.
“I am delighted to bring the Bookableholidays.com brand into the group and to add it to our growing portfolio. Bookableholidays.com will bring a wealth of knowledge and a well-established, loyal consumer database, in turn improving our business growth and product base for both new and existing customers,” said Ali Shah, managing director of Travel Up Group. “With the cutting-edge technology and vision currently in place within the Travel Up Group I am confident we can develop the brand further and create a successful business that we can be proud of.”
