Hyatt is to manage a 384-room hotel, which is part of the mixed-used complex in Hanoi Road in Hong Kong.
To open in 2009, the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong will be located in the heart of the Tsim Sha Tsui Kowloon business district.
“The former Hyatt Regency Hong Kong at Nathan Road was the first Hyatt Hotel established outside of United States. The new Hyatt Regency Hong Kong will continue the legend, as the hospitality landmark in Tsim Sha Tsui,” said Larry Tchou, Managing Director, Hyatt International Asia Pacific.
The former Hyatt Regency Hong Kong closed earlier this year after 36 years. Some of the restaurants in the old hotel will return to the new one.
A total of 7,040 square feet will be dedicated to meeting space, including a 4,111 square feet ballroom and eight meeting rooms of different sizes, perfect for events and meetings. All meeting facilities will be equipped with the latest audio-visual technology and wireless Internet connectivity.
The rooms at the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong will occupy levels 10 to 24 of the building.
