Tenerife luxury resort Abama Golf & Spa Resort has been reflagged as a Ritz-Carlton property.
The high-end brand has managed the resort since 2007 but has only now introduced the name, with the resort now known as The Ritz-Carlton, Abama.
Its rooms will go through a renovation with the Ritz-Carlton Club to be added on the 10th floor. The club will include a concierge service and a terrace overlooking the resort’s 18-hole golf course.
Ritz Kids will be introduced to the resort while its partnership with a local school to offer mentoring will continue.
“This resort embodies our company culture, commitment to our guests and focus on service excellence. We are proud that his beautiful resort will now be clearly recognised as part of our branded portfolio and that our guests will soon be able to enjoy additional signature services of The Ritz-Carlton at this property,” said Bob Kharazmi, global officer, worldwide operations at Ritz-Carlton.
