Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2016 gets bigger

The Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2016 is being held in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) and as part of the Abu Dhabi Aviation and Aerospace Week.
The event is being held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The event will also have the Middle East Aviation Career Conference and Exhibition and Abu Dhabi Heli Expo 2016. The week is a national initiative aimed at focusing on the country’s aviation and aerospace sector.
The three events are slated to take place from 8-10 March 2016 at Al Bateen Executive Airport. This will be the fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi Air Expo which has now become a biannual event.
The Air Expo has already received 70% of repeat exhibitors and an expected increase of 20% to total number of exhibitors from the last event.
Eng Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, chief executive officer, Abu Dhabi Airports said: “Abu Dhabi’s aviation sector is well positioned to deliver significant and continued growth over coming years. The three events will play a crucial role in driving and supporting growth by providing a platform for the industry.”
In addition to the main exhibition area, Abu Dhabi Air Expo will also feature an outdoor area with a static display of over 120 of the latest aircraft on the market.
