Ticket demand for the 2014 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has been soaring according to its organisers. Local and international demand has been such that tickets look like selling out well in advance of the Grand Prix weekend.
The weekend runs from 20-23 November 2014. The number of tickets already sold, combined with number that have so far been reserved by companies, tour operators and agents, means that 75% of all tickets are spoken for. The percentage of sales figures is more impressive given an increase in total number of tickets this year from 55,000 to 60,000.
Organisers are targeting 46 percent international visitors this year, an increase on previous Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekends.
