Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) and its key stakeholders will be strongly promoting the Emirate to the UK market.
“Many of these products are brand new to the market and hence hold out new business opportunities for our expanding industry partner base,” said HE Jasem Al Darmaki, deputy director general, TCA Abu Dhabi. “We will be promoting our destination at large, focusing on the theme that there is so much more to see and do in our emirate than ever. We are looking to engage new trade partners with our destination,” he added.
One area of particular focus will be the 2014/2015 Volvo Ocean Race at the purpose-built Destination Village. There is a fortnight of races, concerts, entertainment and celebration of all things nautical. TCA will also be promoting its 2014 calendar of major events and its www.abudhabievents.ae portal.
