France is the new spotlight for key players across Abu Dhabi. The International Luxury Travel Mart in Cannes will see keen participation from 10 players from Abu Dhabi. The delegation will be headed by the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi).
The Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas is keen to showcase its MICE facilities across its six properties in the region. “The year has gone well with strong, transient demand,” said David Garner, regional director sales & marketing, Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Middle East. “From the MICE market for all properties we are looking at about a 15 to 20% growth in 2015 to help build occupancy.”
The St Regis brand will also presents its two properties in Abu Dhabi as the Group has witnessed a year-to-date increase of 58% in room nights coming just from France. As Titus Rosier, director of sales explains, “the hotel has experienced success with the French market since its opening. Inbound travel from Europe alone has grown 26% year-on-year with France contributing 40% of that growth.”
With all the optimism booming, the other strong players include Jannah Hotels & Resorts, Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal and the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas.
